More than 1 million games from the engine room of playchess.com form the basis of the English Opening Powerbook 2023, with in addition 123 000 games from Mega and from correspondence chess.

Caro-Kann Powerbase 2023 is a database and contains a total of 10974 games from Mega 2023 or the Correspondence Database 2022, of which 781 are annotated.

The major part of the material on which the Caro-Kann Powerbook 2023 is based is taken from the engine room of playchess.com: 755 000 games. To that imposing corpus we have added another 69 000 games from Mega and from correspondence chess.
