New ideas in the Najdorf

Este trabajo trata de complementar el popular DVD de Daniel King del año pasado ‘The Sicilian Najdorf - a repertoire for Black’. Una apertura tan dinámica y popular como la Najdorf éstá evolucionando continuamente. Es esta descarga, Daniel King actualiza las variantes incluidas en el DVD y también responde a las preguntas de los espectadores, considerando variantes que fueron omitidas en el repertorio original.

Las líneas que se examinan en esta actualización son las siguientes:

• 1 e4 c5 2 Cf3 d6 3 d4 cxd4 4 Cxd4 Cf6 5 Cc3 a6 6 h3 e5 7 Cde2
• 5….a6 6 Ac4 en combinación con el Ataque Inglés (Ae3, f3 etc.)
• 5…a6 6 Ae3 y la variante …a5
• 5…a6 6 Ae2 y 9 Te1
• 5 f3 (en vez de 5 Nc3)

No es necesario haber visto el DVD sobre la Najdorf para comprender las variantes que se analizan, pero ayudaría mucho, ya que forman parte de un repertorio completo.
