The Nimzo-Indian Powerbook 2018 is a comprehensive special opening book that allows you to check your opening lines and search for promising additions to your repertoire.
Anyone who wants to play the Nimzo-Indian must also be prepared to enter the Queen’s Indian (or the Bogo-Indian) and the Catalan. For that reason we have included the whole E00-E59 complex in our “Complete Nimzo-Indian Powerbook 2018”. It is based, e.g., on 80 000 games from the Mega Database plus correspondence games. But the lion’s share is made up of the 565 000 games from the engine room, where the Queen’s Indian enjoys greater popularity than the Nimzo-Indian.
The Nimzo-Indian Powerbook 2018 is an opening book that you can use with your Fritz or ChessBase program. It does not come with a database - so there are no games included.
GM Rustam Kasimdzhanov: "Nowadays I don’t know a single chess player, amateur or 2800, that does not use ChessBase, and for good reason."
GM Dorian Rogozenko: "ChessBase is an absolute must-have tool, whether you want to get to the top, or just improve your chess understanding at any level."
GM Daniel King: "ChessBase is essential for instant access to past games, allowing one to prepare new ideas for the future."
GM Adrian Mikhalchishin: "I like CBM in different ways - as a reader, I prefer the Endgame Corner by Karsten Mueller - really well done. As a trainer, I use CBM Tactics to warm up my pupils, sometimes Opening Surveys, which are useful for certain openings and sometimes Strategy, the subjects of which are always instructive."
GM Teimour Radjabov: "I have been using CBM for a long time and it is very useful, because you can see all the recent games, annotated by the best players in the world."
