El GM Nicholas Pert sobre este DVD: “Tras el éxito de mi anterior trabajo 'Typical mistakes by 1600-1900 players', decidí hacer una continuación dirigida a jugadores de un nivel ligeramente superior. Los ejemplos proceden todos de partidas de ajedrecistas con Elo entre 1800 y 2100. Este DVD ofrece material ligeramente más complicado que el anterior, and espero que aporte conocimientos sobre los que creo que son los errores principales que frenan a los jugadores de ese nivel para lograr más éxitos. Dividí el material en categorías como “cuando cambiar piezas”, “como convertir una ventaja”, “piezas pasivas”, “anticipación a los planes del rival”, “aperturas y estructura de peones”. Cada sección incluye varias muestras que ilustran el tema y varios ejemplos prácticos para poner a prueba las capacidades del espectador.
