Das Damengambit (1.d4 d5 2.c4) ist die am häufigsten gespielte Variante einer Damenbauer-Eröffnung. Getreu dem Motto des ehemaligen Weltmeisters Steinitz, „ein Opfer widerlegt man am besten, wenn man es annimmt“, stellt IM Berger Ihnen ein großartiges Repertoire vor und erklärt in unnachahmlicher Weise, wie Schwarz gegen den häufig vorkommenden Bauernvorstoß 2.c4 am besten reagiert und warum es eine gute Idee ist, diesen Bauern sofort zu schlagen.

Zwar hat Weiß Chancen, diesen Bauern zurückzugewinnen, wird dafür aber Zeit in Form von Zügen aufwenden müssen. Wann man den Bauern wieder zurückgibt und wie man den Zeitaufwand des Weißspielers am besten ausnutzen kann, erfährt man auf dieser DVD. Das Eröffnungsrepertoire für Schwarz deckt alle häufig gespielten Fortsetzungen von Weiß ab. Egal wie Weiß versuchen wird seinen geopferten Bauern zurückzugewinnen, sei es ein Aufbau mit e3, e4, Sc3, oder Da4, nach dem Anschauen sind Sie dem Gegner einen Schritt voraus. In einem weiteren ergänzenden interaktiven Teil hat man die Gelegenheit, sein neu erworbenes Wissen selbst auszutesten und die Nuancen noch besser zu verinnerlichen.
