Caro-Kann Powerbook 2016

The Caro-Kann Powerbook 2016 is based on over 278 000 games, of which more than 180 000 come from the engine room on playchess.com. Nowadays the Caro-Kann is played in a very different way. That also becomes clear in the Powerbook. After 1.e4 c6 2.d4 d5 the main continuation is no longer 3.Nc3 dxe4, but quite clearly 3.e5 Bf5 4.Nf3 with statistics based on over 71 000 games. A tip based on the book: 2.Nf3 d5 3.Nc3 Bg4 4.d4

Instead of 200 games from Mega + correspondence chess, in the Powerbook you can also turn to statistics culled from over 2000 games, and the results do not look at all bad for White.
