Installation

1. Download and run the installation file.
2. In the next two dialog boxes, click in each case on “Next” in order to confirm the installation path and the elements to be installed and to start the installation.
3. Finally, click on “Install”, so as to start the installation process. Now allow the installation to take place and close the process with the “Finish” button.

Program activation

1. Start Fritz 15 via the new program icon on your desktop. The program will now request your activation key.
2. Enter your program key (it is printed inside the program box right below the DVD fixture) and the four characters which are represented in a distorted fashion on the green background. Finish with “OK”.
3. Click on “Fritz” in the start screen.
4. When the Fritz 15 board appears on the screen, go to the top left via “File” – “Activation” – “Activate”
5. In the next dialog box enter the the security number again and activateyour program with “OK”.

Registering for Premium
Fritz 15 comes with a 6-month pass for a Premium ChessBase Account.

1. Run Fritz 15 and select the second menu item on the left-hand side, “playchess.com”.
2. Log in to playchess.com with your username and password. If you don’t yet have an account, then select the “Create new account” option.
3. Under “My Account” select “Enter serial number”.
4. Type serial key and security code requested. Log back in to playchess.com again – and you’re good to go!
