Peter Wells

born 1965, is one of the most famous chess authors of the present day. His books, such as “Winning with the Trompowsky” and “Chess Explained: The Queen’s Indian” have been very highly rated. For ChessBase he has brought out the DVD “Strategy and Tactics”. But above all his strategy column in CBM, which he has written since CBM 77, has received the highest praise from all sides. Peter Wells lives in Swindon (South England) and works as a professional chess player, a trainer and an author.
