Jonas Lampert

Jonas Lampert, born in Hamburg in 1997,
is a German chess grandmaster, coach and author.
He represented the Swiss Chess Federation until 2008 and became Swiss Under-10 Champion in 2007.
Between 2007 and 2013, he competed in several World and European Youth Championships,
and in 2013 he won the German Under-16 Championship.
A year later, he earned the International Master title.
In 2018, Lampert won the Staufer Open, securing his second grandmaster norm.
He achieved his third norm at the 2020 Vasja Pirc Memorial in Maribor
and was subsequently awarded the grandmaster title.
He has reached a peak rating of 2550.
Lampert plays for Hamburger SK in the German Chess Bundesliga,
works as an opening coach and produces training materials for ChessBase.
