Sam Collins

Sam Collins, born in Dublin in 1982,
is an Irish International Master who has earned three grandmaster norms.
He represented Ireland at eight Chess Olympiads and won an individual gold medal in Bled in 2002
with an outstanding score of 7½ points from eight games.
Collins won the Irish Championship in 2002 and 2014, as well as the Japanese Championship in 2009.
Alongside his tournament career, he is a successful chess author and coach.
