Curt Hansen

born in 1964, has been in the centre of the chess world since his victory in the Junior World Championship in 1984. For years he was the Danish No.1 and has represented his country in five chess Olympiads. The specialist in the Scandinavian Defence retired early from competitive chess, but writes a daily column in Jyllans-Posten, the biggest Danish daily paper.
