Dorian Rogozenco
Dorian Rogozenco, born in Chișinău in 1973,
is a Moldovan-Romanian chess grandmaster, FIDE Senior Trainer and author.
He earned the International Master title in 1992 and became a Grandmaster in 1996.
Rogozenco reached his peak rating of 2576 in July 1999.
He won the Moldovan Championship in 1994 and represented Moldova and Romania at a total of four Chess Olympiads.
Rogozenco also qualified for the 2001/02 FIDE Knockout World Championship,
where he was eliminated by Mikhail Gurevich in the first round.
From January 2014 to November 2020, he served as head coach of the German Chess Federation,
leading the national team at three Chess Olympiads and several European Team Chess Championships.
Rogozenco regularly produces content for ChessBase,
including contributions to the Master Class series and video columns on classic and modern master games for ChessBase Magazine.
