Christian Bauer
Christian Bauer nació en 1977 y es ajedrecista profesional desde 1998. En ese mismo año ganó el torneo zonal de Andorra. En 1999 participó en el Campeonato del Mundo de la FIDE en Las Vegas, donde cayó en la segunda eliminatoria a manos de Peter Leko. Escribe con regularidad para Europe-Echecs y también es autor de 3 libros: “Play 1...b6”, “The Philidor Files” (“Tout sur la Défense Philidor”) y “Play the Scandinavian” (“Jouez la Scandinave”) Bauer juega asiduamente con la selección de Francia (2º puesto en el Campeonato de Europa de Selecciones 2001 en León y 3º en 2005 en Gotemburgo). Ganó la medalla de oro en 2011 en el Campeonato de Europa por Equipos y como mejor reserva. Es triple campeón de Francia (1996, 2012 y 2015) y también se convirtió en Campeón de Francia de Ajedrez Rápido en 2015.
