Königsindische Verteidigung - Ein modernes Repertoire

Egal ob Amateur oder Profi – wer mit Schwarz von Beginn an eine spannungsreiche Schachpartie spielen möchte, greift gern zur königsindischen Verteidigung. Dass Weiß dabei ein beträchtlicher Raumvorteil überlassen wird (z.B. nach 1.d4 Sf6 2.c4 g6 3.Sc3 Lg7 4.e4), ist eine Grundidee dieses Konterkonzepts. In vielen Varianten verfügt Schwarz über zwei etwa gleichwertige Bauernhebel, um das weiße Zentrum, insbesondere den anfälligen Punkt d4 sogleich unter Druck zu setzen: ...e7-e5 bzw. ...c7-c5. Auf dieser DVD gibt es eine gewisse Tendenz für den Hebel ...c7-c5, denn dieser bietet beim Aufbau eines fein aufeinander abgestimmten Eröffnungsrepertoires einige praktische Vorteile. In 19 Videoclips erläutert Martin Breutigam ein komplettes Königsindisch-Repertoire gegen alle gängigen Varianten, in denen Weiß frühzeitig d2-d4 und c2-c4 gezogen hat; der Internationale Meister zeigt zum Beispiel, wie man clever auf die klassische Variante (1.d4 Sf6 2.c4 g6 3.Sc3 Lg7 4.e4 d6 5.Sf3 0-0 5.Le2) reagieren kann oder auf den Vierbauernangriff (5.f4). The characteristic of the King’s Indian is the fianchetto of Black’s king’s bishop in conjunction with ...Nf6 and ...d6. Black allows White to march forward in the centre with his c-, d- and e-pawns and only lays claim to his share of the centre later on with ...e5 or ...c5. The popularity of the King’s Indian was due first of all to the games of the Soviet grandmasters Isaac Boleslavsky (1919–1977) and David Bronstein (1924–2006). The first heyday of the King’s Indian was in the 1950s and 1960s when Bobby Fischer too played it. At the end of the 1980s the most prominent exponent of the King’s Indian was Garry Kasparov, a position which has nowadays been occupied by Teimour Radjabov.
