Magic of Chess Tactics 2

De forma similar al primer DVD de la serie, se trata de material táctico explosivo. Mediante animadas debates sobre la apertura, el mediojuego y el final, el entrenador de ajedrez de Bremen y analista Claus Dieter Meyer de nuevo sitúa bajo el microscopio un amplio cúmulo de temas y partidas o fragmentos atemporales, gran parte de ellos sacados de la Bundesliga Alemana, y de este modo ha extraído muchos motivos y temas y llamado la atención sobre técnicas de ataque y transformaciones.

En la gran base de datos que se incluye están los análisis completos que tienen unas 400 preguntas de entrenamiento además de diversas fotografías, algunas de las cuales fueron sacadas en los encuentros. El gran maestro hamburgués Dr. Karsten Müller ha perfilado en vídeo los aspectos fundamentales del trabajo de Meyer y ha creado 14 tests además de otros 10 tests interactivos completados con ejemplos propios. De esta forma las técnicas de ataque (por ejemplo, con desequilibrio material o posicional) y las transformaciones (en especial los cambios buenos y malos) pueden estudiarse primero y luego profundizar en ellos inmediatamente después mediante ejercicios específicos.
