Surya Ganguly
Surya Shekhar Ganguly, né en 1983 à Calcutta,
est un grand maître indien et six fois champion de son pays consécutivement, de 2003 à 2008.
Il a remporté le championnat d’Asie en 2009.
Parmi ses principaux succès internationaux figurent également ses victoires
au Fujairah International Masters en 2012 et au Belt and Road Open en 2019.
Ganguly a représenté l’Inde à sept Olympiades et remporté une médaille
d’or individuelle aux championnats du monde par équipes de 2010 et 2019.
Comme secondant, il a accompagné Viswanathan Anand lors de ses matchs victorieux pour le titre mondial contre
Vladimir Kramnik, Veselin Topalov et Boris Gelfand.
Ganguly enregistre également des cours d’entraînement pour ChessBase.
