Behandelt werden die zentralen taktischen Motive des Offenen Sizilianers: Figurenopfer im Zentrum, typische Einschläge auf b5, Angriffe gegen den unrochierten König sowie klassische Bauernhebel wie h4–h5 bei entgegengesetzten Rochaden. Ebenso ausführlich erklärt werden die wichtigsten strategischen Themen, darunter die Felderschwächen auf d5 und e6, der schwarze Befreiungsvorstoß …d5 sowie das charakteristische Qualitätsopfer auf c3. Der Kurs arbeitet überwiegend mit modernen Beispielpartien ab 2020, ergänzt durch ausgewählte Klassiker. Alle Partien sind von Beginn an kommentiert und liefern konkrete Ideen für beide Farben. Abgerundet wird das Material durch Erläuterungen zu typischen Zugumstellungen sowie einen umfangreichen Übungsteil mit über 20 Trainingsstellungen, um das Gelernte direkt anzuwenden.
