Ein komplettes Weißrepertoire mit der Spanisch-Abtauschvariante

Die spanische Verteidigung ist eine der ältesten Eröffnungen überhaupt und eine gute Möglichkeit für Weiß, auf Eröffnungsvorteil zu spielen. Doch Schwarz kann unter einer Vielzahl von verschiedenen Systemen wählen wie der Steinitz-Verteidigung, der Zaitsev- oder Breyer-Variante oder auch der Berliner Verteidigung, um nur einige zu nennen. Mitunter sind diese Systeme sehr komplex und erfordern vom Weißspieler eine Menge Variantenkenntnis. Ist diese nicht vorhanden, geht der Überblick verloren und die entstehenden Stellungen können dem Anziehenden im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes „spanisch“ vorkommen. Damit das nicht geschieht, bietet Ihnen das Autorenduo Luther/Jordan ein Repertoire auf Grundlage der Abtausch-Variante nach 1. e4 e5 2. Sf3 Sc6 3. Lb5 a6 4. Lxc6 an. Wann immer es möglich ist, wird der Springer auf c6 geschlagen, wonach die typische Doppelbauernstruktur c6/c7 bei Schwarz erscheint. Hauptaugenmerk wird dabei auf die strategischen Feinheiten der entstehenden Stellungen gelegt. Doch auch alle weiteren Versuche des Nachziehenden seine Eröffnungsprobleme zu lösen, werden abgehandelt, sodass dem Weißspieler ein komplettes Repertoire gegen die spanische Verteidigung zur Verfügung steht. Ein interaktiver Taktikteil, eine Partie im bewährten Zug um Zug Format und eine Datenbank mit 100 Partien runden das Ganze ab. Nach Durchsicht der DVD ist der Zuschauer gewappnet, mit Zuversicht diese Eröffnung zu spielen, sodass er zukünftig die Frage Kommt Ihnen das „Spanisch“ vor? getrost verneinen kann.

Ruy Lopez

The Spanish Opening is one of the absolutely oldest. It is named after the Spanish priest Ruy López de Segura, who in 1561 presented his analyses on this way of starting the game in a book. But even today the Spanish can be seen in many games of top players and it is quite clearly the most important of the Open Games. Not only does White develop his bishop, he also immediately puts pressure on the black e5-pawn. Whereas previously 3...a6 was almost obligatory, nowadays 3...Nf6 – the Berlin Defence – is favoured.
