Mihail Marin
Mihail Marin, nacido en 1965 en Bucarest,
es un gran maestro rumano, tres veces campeón nacional y reconocido autor.
Ganó el Campeonato de Rumanía en 1988, 1994 y 1999 y representó a su país en doce Olimpiadas de Ajedrez,
obteniendo una medalla de bronce individual en 1988.
Marin consiguió el título de gran maestro en 1993 y alcanzó su Elo máximo de 2616 en 2009.
Es especialmente conocido por la claridad de sus explicaciones estratégicas en sus libros,
sus cursos de ChessBase y sus artículos para ChessBase Magazine.
Entre sus obras más elogiadas figuran «Secrets of Chess Defence»
y «Learn from the Legends», cuyo segundo volumen apareció en 2025.
