Saber defenderse en posiciones malas o inferiores es muy informante en el juego de reyes y probablemente constituye en si mismo uno de los aspectos más esenciales de la estrategia ajedrecística. ¡Y es un arte que se puede aprender! El propósito de este DVD es explicar al espectador todos los métodos principales de defensa: cambio de piezas, creación de fortalezas, eliminación de piezas peligrosas enemigas, escapar de la zona de peligro con el rey, mejorar la posición de las piezas. Se presta especial atención al contraataque y al juego profiláctico. El DVD contiene 5 horas de vídeos basados en posiciones de la práctica de los campeones mundiales y de otros jugadores de la elite. Como guinda del pastel, se incluyen 15 posiciones para practicar que el espectador debe resolver. Recomendado para ajedrecistas de todos los niveles.
