Robert Ris
Robert Ris, né en 1988 à Amstelveen,
est un maître international néerlandais, entraîneur FIDE et auteur.
Son père lui a appris les échecs à sept ans et il est ensuite devenu l’un des meilleurs joueurs néerlandais de sa génération.
Il a notamment participé à trois championnats d’Europe de jeunes.
Ris a obtenu le titre de maître international en 2007 et atteint son meilleur classement Elo, 2464, en avril 2020.
Il enseigne les échecs depuis l’âge de 15 ans, d’abord dans les écoles et les clubs,
puis principalement comme entraîneur professionnel en ligne auprès de joueurs de tous âges et de différents niveaux.
Il détient le titre d’entraîneur FIDE depuis 2019.
Ris publie pour ChessBase de nombreux cours et articles consacrés aux ouvertures, à la stratégie et au calcul des variantes.
Il présente également sur le serveur PlayChess l’émission « Fast & Furious »,
dans laquelle il explique des variantes d’ouvertures tranchantes.
