He recommends countering the Grünfeld with a sharp line of the London System: 1.d4 ♞f6 2.♗f4 g6 3.♘c3 d5 4.e3 ♝g7 5.h4!? And he explains why he likes the move 8…♛e8 in the Nimzo-Indian with 4.♕c2.

In an addition to his recently released "Anti-London" DVD, Yannick Pelletier explains why the move-order 1.d4 d5 2.♘f3 ♞f6 3.♗f4 c5 4.c3 ♞c6 5.e3 is no longer popular on master level, and how Black gets very comfortable play with a few energetic moves!
