There is a total of 8914 games with a rating average of at least 2525 (apart from games with annotations or played by Italian Game experts Aronian, Carlsen, So and Nakamura).
Desktop PC or Notebook, 2 GB RAM, Windows 11, 10 or 8.1, DVD-ROM drive (if ordered with Postal Delivery), ChessBase 17, 16 or 15, Internet access (downloads).

A double click on the database loads the overview of the games. A further double click loads the relevant game. The tab Players lets you sort the games by frequency (with the tab Total). Levon Aronian heads the list with 251 games, followed by Wesley So (234). Furthermore, it is interesting to click on Title; (for that you should have an up-to-date player encyclopaedia) you can see that almost all the world champions had or still have the Italian Game in their repertoire.

The games can be played through or further investigated with an engine or a powerbook.
