The new Dragon Powerbook 2013 is based on over 84 000 games, meaning that it has been considerably extended compared to the previous version. Of course, only the best games from classical tournaments and correspondence chess have been used for the book. They are supplemented by over 30 000 high class games from the engine room on playchess.com. As might be expected the lion’s share of the games have been played in the Yugoslav Attack. A glance at the statistics is extremely intriguing, but you always have to check out whether the opposite side can improve results when the game progresses. The depth of analysis required to manage this is always easily achieved since the book goes far beyond current theory.
