Power Play 23: A Repertoire for black with the Queen's Gambit Declined

El gambito de Dama Rehusado (conocido como QGD por las iniciales de su nombre en inglés) es una de las aperturas más fiables contra 1 d4. Con forma de peón en el centro del tablero, las negras evitan ser desalojadas del centro. El control del centro da a las negras buenas opciones de lanzarse al ataque del rey enemigo. En este DVD el gran maestro Daniel King le ofrece un repertorio para las negras con el gambito de Dama Rehusado. El repertorio se muestra por medio de 10 partidas significativas que abarcan todos los sistemas principales de las blancas: 5 Ag5, 5 Af4 y la variante del cambio. Las opciones de las negras contra la Catalana se exploran en otro DVD. El gambito de Dama Rehusado es una apertura flexible. Este DVD explora distintos sistemas de forma que podrá mantener la incertidumbre de su rival sobre cual elegirá. Una de las grandes ventajas de jugar el  gambito de Dama Rehusado es que la teoría es relativamente sencilla: esta apertura depende de su comprensión de las ideas, no de variantes engañosas con jugadas de ordenador que van contra la intuición. Se analizan partidas completas, de forma que se consiguen ideas sobre las estrategias típicas de ambos bandos. Además, esas partidas modelo aportan inspiración para jugar la apertura. Es un DVD interactivo. En momentos clave de las partidas el gran maestro King se detiene y le pasa el testigo. Tendrá que encontrar y realizar la mejor jugada. 2...e6 is the natural way for Black to defend the d5-pawn and it prepares to develop the Bf8, whilst for the moment the light-squared bishop is at first shut in. This system is considered one of the most solid against 1.d4 and has been used in numerous WCh matches.
