Ofrezco directrices para guiarle por la apertura, muestro los finales básicos, ayudo a entender estructuras de peones fundamentales y explico principios y modelos de ataque y defensa. No obstante, para jugar con éxito no basta la teoría. También ayuda conocer un poco de psicología ajedrecística porque incluso el jugador más fuerte comete errores. Es importante saber como tratar los errores, tanto del rival como propios. A lo largo del DVD intento destacar dos de los elementos más importantes del ajedrez: el proceso de toma de decisiones y como las estructuras de peones conforman la posición y le ayudan a encontrar los planes correctos. Por último hablo de la belleza en el ajedrez, pues después de todo eso es lo que me atrae del juego”.
