The Ragozin Defense

La defensa Ragozin (1.d4 Cf6 2.c4 e6 3.Cf3 d5 4.Cc3 Ab4) está en la vanguardia de la teoría de ajedrez. Con el arranque 3.Cf3 como respuesta a las configuraciones nimzoindias y con las dificultades que los jugadores de negras han sufrido con la India de Dama, fue natural volver a la Ragozin como una sólida y fiable forma de contrarrestar las configuraciones de las blancas. La Ragozin está siendo aplicada por todos los grandes maestros del mundo, así que ya es hora de que la añada a su repertorio para conseguir posiciones dinámicas e interesantes contra 1. d4!

El DVD se funda sobre un sistema de juego sólido para las negras. Favorece las posiciones complejas estratégicamente a la vez que intenta minimizar cualquier planteamiento de ventaja en la apertura que las blancas puedan hacer. Las líneas que se ofrecen son el último grito en conocimiento teórico. Analizamos cada jugada que las blanca pueden realizar una vez que se llega a la Ragozin, pero debido a las diversas transposiciones posibles, siempre remarcamos porque jugamos nuestros propios movimientos y que objetivos estratégicos mantenemos presentes. Mi motivación para preparar la Ragozin proviene de mi propia búsqueda de una apertura que me permitiera jugar un ajedrez interesante sin un inconmensurable riesgo. ¡Aunque creo en el gambito Benko, no es posible jugar todas las partidas con un peón de menos! Las configuraciones nimzoindias son en la actualidad la forma más popular se afrontar 1.d4 y dentro de ellas, la Ragozin es la variante que está creciendo como la más importante teóricamente.

Gambito de dama

The occupation of the centre with 1.d4 is, with 1.e4, one of the most popular ways to start a game. If Black meets the move of the queen’s pawn with the symmetrical 1...d5, we have after 2.c4 the Queen’s Gambit. In most cases, Black will now support the pawn on d5, which gives him a share of the centre: either with 2...e6 – the Queen’s Gambit Declined – or 2...c6 – the Slav Defence. A third and very different possibility is 2...dxc4, the Queen’s Gambit Accepted.
