• There are games which absolutely have to be known and according to Robert Ris Spassky-Petrosian, Moscow 1969 is one such encounter. In the 5th game of the WCh match there appeared on the board a typical Semi Tarrasch Defence. Spassky’s play in this game is considered to be a textbook example of how to treat the structure.
