Die Sweschnikow-Variante

Basierend auf 30 Jahren persönlicher Erfahrung auf hohem Niveau bietet Rogozenco einen kompletten Leitfaden für Schwarz in der modernen Theorie des Sweschnikow-Sizilianers.

Der Sweschnikow-Sizilianer wurde nach dem Weltmeisterschaftskampf 2018 zwischen Magnus Carlsen und Fabiano Caruana wieder populär, in dem der Weltmeister diese Eröffnung als eine seiner Hauptwaffen einsetzte. Der Ausgangspunkt dieses Videokurses ist 1.e4 c5 2.Sf3 Sc6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Sxd4 Sf6 5.Sc3 e5. Rogozenco erklärt die Besonderheiten der Haupt- und Nebenvariante. Der Kurs besteht aus 12 Teilen, von denen jeder eine Videoeinführung und eine Datenbank enthält. In der Videoeinführung erklärt der Autor einige historische Hintergründe der Variante, ihre strategischen Ideen und gibt klare Zugempfehlungen für Schwarz. Zusätzlich zum Material in den Videoeinführungen enthaltenen die Datenbanken mehrere wichtige kommentierte Partien mit allen notwendigen theoretischen Details.

Siciliana

1.e4 c5 are the moves which define the Sicilian Defence. Black fights for the d4-square, but unlike with the double move of the black e-pawn the symmetry is immediately destroyed and Black is indicating that he is not simply aiming to achieve equality. Then things can continue in quite different directions. 2.Nf3 followed by 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 leads to the Open Sicilian. But before that, Black has the option of laying down the direction in which the opening will go, according to whether he plays 2...d6, 2...e6 or 2...Nc6. But nowadays systems in which White does without an early d4 are also very popular.
